Job Description:

Receiver/Stockkeeper: Receives stock, in-bins, issues, and credits a variety of items from a storeroom or from one or more secondary locations. Responds to customers' requests presented in the form of computer-generated issue picking documents or various requisitions from telephone conversation or by over-the-counter verbal contact, assist in inventory of storeroom stock and in resolving inventory discrepancies. Completes required paperwork and/or makes entries through computer terminal to maintain accurate records of storeroom transactions.

  • Be able to perform all the essential elements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Be capable of providing clear, concise verbal and written communications.
  • Possess and practice good organizational skills.
  • Be a team player.
  • Have or possess the ability to learn, the Eastman materials management process, Eastman Chemical Company products and processes, enhanced computer skills (SAP R/3), and knowledge of a variety of software packages includingcorporatesystems (i.e., Intranet, Internet, Microsoft Office products, etc.).
  • Be willing to work varied schedules and overtime according to business needs.
  • Be willing to train in all areas of the Indirect Supply Chain.



Qualifications:




  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have valid driver's license.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
