Sayres is seeking a Maintenance Manager who is responsible for ensuring the operational readiness and availability of all range systems, equipment, facilities, targets, and training areas to support Fleet training requirements. This role develops and leads the Asset and Target Area Maintenance Program, establishing strategies, procedures, and performance standards to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations. The Maintenance Manager also oversees the development of budgets and maintenance policies, ensuring that all projects and objectives are completed on time and within scope.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the maintenance of all range systems, equipment, facilities, targets, target areas, and other range areas to maximize their availability to meet Fleet training requirements.

  • Establishes and administers the overall strategies and procedures for the Asset and Target Area Maintenance Program.

  • Develops budgets, policies, and procedures to support range training assets and ensures projects, milestones, and goals are met.

Required Skills and Education:

  • Experience managing a dispersed workforce in support of DoD training asset maintenance requirements

  • Familiarity with ISO 9000:2015

  • Seven (7) years of training in asset maintenance experience with DoD efforts

  • Three (3) years of managerial experience with DoD efforts.

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM and/or management field

Security Clearance:

  • Secret Security Clearance
