Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey empowers our members to achieve their best health. For over 90 years, we have been New Jersey's health solutions leader driving innovations that improve health care quality, affordability, and member experience. Our members are our neighbors, our friends, and our families. It is this understanding that drives us to better serve and care for the 3.5 million people who place their trust in us. We pride ourselves on our best-in-class employees and strive to maintain an innovative and inclusive environment that allows them to thrive. When our employees bring their best and succeed, the Company succeeds.

We are seeking an exceptional, data-driven, and strategic Director of SaaS Marketing Operations & Sales Enablement to join our leadership team. This individual will play a critical role in accelerating NovaWell's growth by building and optimizing the end-to-end marketing and sales technology infrastructure (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.), aligning go-to-market efforts with enterprise goals, and operationalizing success across functions.

As the engine behind our demand generation, lead management, marketing tech stack, and commercial analytics, this leader will serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Head of Growth, and client success teams. They will be responsible for driving scalable marketing and sales processes, improving revenue operations efficiency, and enhancing our ability to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Marketing Operations

Build and optimize the marketing technology stack (CRM, automation tools, analytics dashboards) to support end-to-end lead generation and conversion. Utilize HubSpot, Salesforce and other necessary marketing automation and sales ops tools. Establish KPIs, attribution models, and campaign analytics frameworks to evaluate and report on performance across channels. Partner with product marketing and demand generation teams to ensure operational alignment with content strategy, targeting, and segmentation. Own data integrity and process rigor across systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Pardot/Marketo) to enable clean reporting and scalable campaign execution.

Sales Operations & Enablement

Implement and manage the sales enablement function, including tools, training, onboarding, playbooks, and performance dashboards. Collaborate with sales leadership to refine pipeline development, territory planning, forecasting, and compensation planning. Act as the connective tissue between marketing, sales, finance, and client success to ensure revenue teams are aligned, focused, and accountable. Drive the implementation of best-in-class practices to reduce friction in the buyer journey and increase win rates and deal velocity.

Strategic Leadership

Advise the CEO, Head of Growth and executive team on market and pipeline performance, ROI trends, and operational risks and opportunities. Build and lead a small, high-impact team as NovaWell grows, with a hands-on approach to execution and improvement. Support strategic initiatives including partnerships, M&A integration, and market expansion from a commercial operations perspective.

Education/Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing tech and operations, sales tech and operations, and revenue operations.
  • Demonstrated success in building marketing and sales ops infrastructure from the ground up in a growth-stage or mid-sized company.
  • High School Diploma/GED Required
  • Bachelor degree preferred or relevant experience in lieu of degree

Skills and Abilities

Your professional background exemplifies the type of candidate who thrives in this role: a hands-on leader with a track record of standing up high-performance technology and commercial operations functions, scaling infrastructure during periods of high growth, and aligning cross-functional teams toward shared outcomes. • Analytically rigorous. You bring deep fluency in marketing and sales metrics and can build dashboards, reports, and narratives that translate data into action.
  • Systems-savvy. You've implemented and optimized platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, or Marketo, and know how to make them work together to drive growth.
