Audeze LLC seeks a Mechanical Engineering Supervisor in Santa Ana, CA to manage end-to-end product development operations from conceptualization to product launch of all Audeze products. Requires a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, and three (3) years of experience designing critical components and sub-assemblies of headphones; evaluating manufacturing automation processes by designing and conducting experiments and reviewing product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; leading and supervising the planar magnetic diaphragm manufacturing operations; working on planar magnetic diaphragm manufacturing process optimization and research on new ultra-thin materials; utilizing molecular dynamics and multiscale simulation to research on acoustic and mechanical behavior of ultra-thin films; performing root cause analysis of non-conforming components and issue SCAR reports and enforce corrective actions; driving continuous improvement initiatives through defect mitigation and process optimization; utilizing CAD, 3D printing and laser processes to create prototypes for design validation and testing; and in executing duties, utilize expertise in advanced mechanical, electromagnetic and acoustic simulation programs and acoustics, electrical equipment, electronics, electro-magnetic fields and magnetic structure. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. Sony is an EOE.

Salary range: $157,414.00 - $180,000.00/year.
