The Shift Supervisor is
responsible for the safety and productivity of all production employees staffed
on designated shift, as well as plant security. Additionally, the Shift Supervisor
position is accountable for ensuring that production scheduled for completion
is executed in a timely manner and within all quality parameters.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

* Ensure the safety and productivity of all employees assigned to designated shift

* Enforce all safety and processing procedures

* Enable effective communications between management and operators

* Provide training and guidance new employees and coach existing employees

* Run machines during break times & assist your team when needed

* Monitors teams' efficiency and ensures that output meets expectations.

* Maintain a clean and safe work place in accordance

* Notify management when equipment requires maintenance or repair

* Investigate and report all incidents (spills, accidents, poor performance)

* Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates

Qualifications

* High School diploma or GED required - Further education is a plus.

* 1-2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing environment required.

* Proven people management skills and ability to develop and/or maintain a team.

* Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

* Computer skills (ERP, Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel)

* Prior experience in injection molding is highly preferred

* Lean or Six Sigma qualification is preferred
