EV Battery Solutions (EVBS) is looking for a self-starter to lead and manage large, complex and critical programs.

The Client Performance Manager is the individual who works most closely with clients to receive, assess and communicate answers to questions about program initiatives. They must understand the client's goals and drive insights, improvements, and growth opportunities for the client by fostering trust and expertise. The Client Performance Manager works from a position of authority to recommend, implement, and monitor solutions.

This individual will also provide tactical and strategic guidance and support to our internal teams to create, own, operationalize and maintain end-to-end programs, enabled by KPIs, dashboards and strong relationships with the client and internal stakeholders. This role will create an environment of predictable, safe and high-quality outcomes.

This individual will be located in one of our EV Battery Center markets (Oklahoma City, Atlanta, Las Vegas or Detroit).

Client Performance Management - You support new and/or existing clients.

  • Adherence to EVBS Performance Management Framework
  • Primary point of contact for EVBS client(s) for all aspects of your assigned programs
  • Develop & maintain collaborative relationships with your clients (from the day-to-day stakeholder to executives), engineers and operational business stakeholders as appropriate to establish priorities and provide ongoing updates
  • Responsible for all operational, business, and finance aspects of the program. Ensure optimal operational delivery of client work via regular reporting and engagement with team to identify improvement opportunities that drive, efficiency, safety, and quality
  • Manage to SOWs and ensure issuance and replenishment of purchase orders
  • Communicate proactively with client(s) on production recommendations, risks, challenges, and solutions
  • Lead regular status/update meetings with client(s) and the internal teams, ensuring thorough communication with all stakeholders at all stages of the engagement
  • Ensure lessons learned and any newly developed best practices are considered to enhance existing EVBS Performance Management Framework for continuous improvement and process optimization
  • Identify issues and opportunities within accounts and projects to provide solutions and potential new sales opportunities


Communication- You are the voice of the client to leadership.

  • Facilitates face-to-face communication and client program feedback
  • Regularly communicate progress, issues, and risks to management and the program team
  • Ability to design and maintain program artifacts such as meeting agenda/minutes, RAID logs, process flows, status presentations, project updates, etc.
  • Identify risks associated with the program and work to identify and enable program team to execute a mitigation plan to reduce the likelihood of the risk occurring and contingencies in case the risk manifests
  • Take corrective action to improve the RAG (Red, Amber, Green) status of the program where necessary
  • Some travel between regional sites and/or to client locations
  • Other duties as needed or required


Client Program Leadership- You are to embody the example for the program.

  • Lead and manage project to deliver business objectives, set the example, and maintain cadence
  • Leverage sales leadership to aid in driving change, change requests, timeline adjustments with the client
  • Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders, escalating issues as necessary, to ensure timely delivery


Project Leadership- You may need to serve as a Project/Program Manager for new initiatives.

  • Oversee EVBS implementation projects and support project teams consisting of both internal and external stakeholders
  • Must organize, manage, direct, and drive all activities and artifacts for the program from RFP/RFI to after delivery and warranty phase
  • Works with cross functional project team members to define, sequence and estimate activities and duration
  • Synthesizes diverse sets of information into plans and schedules
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure engagement throughout the project, as well as efficient handoff during project transition to business as usual.
  • Schedule and facilitate client and internal meetings via telephone, web and face-to-face
  • Adherence to EVBS Implementation Framework
  • Project Kick off workshop(s), both internal and client facing
  • Technical Discovery including process definition, facility space planning, Engineering requirements/reviews, software requirements/review, invoicing/billing requirements/reviews
  • Schedule development
  • SOW development
  • Procurement of necessary equipment and tools
  • Facility readiness
  • Operation readiness
  • Production trial run
  • PPAP/Launch
  • Graceful multitasking


Required Experience & Specialized Knowledge and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field
  • Experience with EV batteries highly preferred along with experience with automotive OEMs
  • 6+ years in project management, client solutions, sales and/or operational roles
  • Client facing exposure with proven ability to develop strong relationships
  • Must be self-motivated with strong organizational skills, an attention to detail, and the aptitude to take ownership
  • Ability to design items of communication to convey complicated issues in an easily understood fashion to team members, clients, and leadership
  • Thrive in a high pressure, ever changing and demanding environment
  • Systems to be proficient with:
  • MS Office tools: Project/Smartsheet, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio/Lucid, Word
  • Experience with reviewing and/or writing SOWs/contracts a plus
  • Travel required: 25-50% (international travel may be required)
  • Requires physical ability and mental acuity to execute the duties of the position successfully within required timeframes to meet business requirements.


USD 108,800.00 - 181,400.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $108,800.00 - $181,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
