TEKsystems is seeking Switchboard Operators for a local hospitals switchboard department. - Incoming calls from those who call the General Office Line - Connect people to where they need to go and who they need to speak with - Receive calls from people within the organization and from outside - Call lengths are typically within 30-45 seconds MAIN FUNCTIONS: - 250+ inbound calls/day - Greets customer via telephone - Handles any and all calls that come through on the 1-800 line - Answers questions regarding hours, locations, personal, etc. - Transfers emergency calls to ER - Pages physician's on behalf of patients Skills customer service, Switchboard, Inbound Call Center, Customer Inquiries, Multi Tasking Additional Skills & Qualifications MUST HAVE: - 1+ year of steady employment in a call center role where 50+ calls are taken/day - High caliber of customer service - No more than 4 jobs in 5 years Training - FULLY REMOTE - Must be able to pick up equipment on 1st day, but is fully remote afterwards. Schedule - Monday-Friday while on contact. Once permanent, you will be asked to work rotating weekends (every other weekend). When they are scheduled to work a weekend, they will only work 3 week days that week. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
