BASE RATE PER HOUR: $29.00

SHIFT: 3rd

HOURS: 10:30pm-7:00am

General Summary

This position is responsible for operating equipment and performing the set-up, physically handling, mixing, blending, packaging product in addition to cleaning, sanitizing equipment and operating a forklift. Nature of duties requires the ability to utilize math for calculations, regular attendance, and sufficient familiarity with a production environment preferably food-processing.

Principal Accountabilities

Operate equipment as assigned including: DP-2, and Raw Room equipment, and any other equipment as needed. Products include Dairy, CM, Flavor Premixes, Sage and USDA and Non-USDA Flavors. Assemble and prepares product piping for production. Manually add ingredients to tanks and vessels. Operate equipment as assigned and in accordance with work instructions. Clean and sanitize equipment used in assigned operation. Maintain data on log sheets and ensure completion/accuracy of log sheets. Maintain organization of all tools and equipment in work area. Communicate with supervisor and relieving person as to the condition of the operation and any unusual circumstances. Adhere to all safety programs, report any safety concerns to the supervisor. Adhere to all HACCP/GMP program guidelines to ensure that product is of the highest quality and integrity. Maintain cost-effective production output, minimizing errors. Perform minor preventative maintenance on production equipment. Maintain certification as back-up for two roles within the facility. Additional duties as assigned.

Job Specifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2+ years of demonstrated knowledge and applicable experience in a production, manufacturing or distribution fields, preferably in the food-processing environment.
  • Solid math and reading comprehension skills.
  • Previous forklift experience.
  • Dependable attendance record
  • Effective team player and communicator
  • Safety and quality conscious
  • Available to work overtime and weekends

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

2+ years of demonstrated knowledge and applicable experience in a production, manufacturing, or distribution fields, preferably in the food-processing environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $29.00.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
