GENERAL FUNCTION

The Maintenance Tech II is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all Facility and Production equipment, which include all automation related equipment such as Hytrol and Intelligrated conveyors, automated packing and labeling equipment, and Sortation Equipment.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Perform maintenance and required preventative maintenance on all Automated Production systems with emphasis on Allen Bradley PLC systems and Industrial Controls.
  • Identify and facilitate equipment improvements to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoots and diagnoses motors, controls, distributions systems, Allen Bradley PLC systems.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain Hytrol and Intelligrated Conveyor, automated packing and labeling equipment, and Sortation Equipment.
  • Supports Building maintenance repairs (Plumbing, Electrical , HVAC ) as needed
  • Track maintenance work orders, inventory, purchase orders, facility inspections as required
  • Assist the maintenance team in the training and team development.
  • Must be reliable in attendance and punctuality, including breaks and lunch periods.
  • Must be available for weekend and after hours call in.
  • Support, follow, and monitor all safety requirements / expectations
  • Maintain adherence to company policies.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • 2 yr. Technical or trade school education or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years industrial maintenance experience required
  • Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and all maintenance procedures including mechanical, logic and fluid power diagrams.
  • Allen Bradley PLC knowledge
  • Must have knowledge of procedures and standards including Lock-Out/ Tag-Out.
  • MSDS, PPE, OSHA Standards.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems/issue using root cause analysis.
  • Use of repetitive motion of hands and wrists as necessary
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
