Responsibilities

Become a vital member of the dynamic Subrogation Product team, spearheading cutting-edge technology solutions that will improve customer experience. As a skilled Software Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in propelling our modernization endeavors. Join a tight-knit and dedicated group, embracing innovative product management strategies and agile development methodologies. Hybrid Work Locations: Bloomington IL, Richardson TX , Tempe AZ , Dunwoody GA

Hybrid Work Arrangement: A "Hybrid" position means selected candidates will be assigned to a facility and will spend some time working both in the office and from their home. Work arrangements could change over time based on business need. Hybrid work arrangement for Enterprise Technology is defined as residing within a 180-mile radius of the Hubs and Corporate.

Qualifications
  • Full stack software engineer
  • Experience with JavaScript/HTML, Salesforce development with Lightning Web Components.
  • Knowledge and/or Experience with AWS.
  • Knowledge and/or Experience with Angular, Java, Python, and Spring Boot.
  • Expertise in creating CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitlabCI, Jenkins, or similar.
  • Understanding of Web Services and APIs.
  • Champion of Information Security best practices.
  • Familiarity with Product Management and Agile principles.
  • Familiarity with Data Management concepts (Governance, Quality, and Administration).
  • Understanding of Disaster Recovery, Fail Over and Redundancy, Promoter of Automated Testing.
  • Knowledge in compute environments, including but not limited to Linux, Hadoop, Mainframe, Public Cloud, and containers.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness & ability to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to a changing & fast-paced agile development environment
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-development skills to keep up to date with fast-changing trends.
  • Agile experience on software development team.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to breakdown complex technical problems in a way that technical and non-technical audiences can understand.


Our Benefits

Because work-life balance is a priority at State Farm, compensation is based on our standard 38:45-hour work week!

Potential starting salary range: $95,000 - $125,000

Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience. High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience

Potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary
