What You'll Do

As a Lead Field Technician, you'll manage and mentor a local team of technicians while providing hands-on technical expertise in the field. You'll ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

You Can Contribute and Have an Impact By:

  • Managing and supporting technician performance through coaching, training, and development.

  • Overseeing technician scheduling, including PTO approvals and workload balance.

  • Monitoring departmental metrics to ensure goals and service levels are met.

  • Providing technical consultation to the sales team - designing radio, video security, and access control systems and defining equipment and labor needs for customer quotes.

  • Assisting customer service with evaluating and prioritizing incoming service calls.

  • Participating in and occasionally facilitating department leadership meetings.

  • Identifying, recommending, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency.

  • Working in the field alongside your team to support service calls and project deployments.

  • Promoting a culture of safety and promptly addressing any safety concerns.

Qualifications & Experience You Bring
  • Experience leading projects and/or supervising technical teams.

  • Proven ability to set clear expectations and hold team members accountable.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • A desire to mentor, support, and develop others.
