Associate Business Systems Analyst

Genesis10 is currently looking for a Associate Business Systems Analyst for a 8 month contract role for our client in Minneapolis, MN. This role is 100% remote.

Summary:

The main function of a business systems analyst is to analyze science, engineering, business, and all other data processing for the application. A typical business systems analyst is responsible for analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.

Responsibilities:

* Gather requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers.

* Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.

* Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs.

* Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared.

Note: This resource will be shadowing and taking direction from the more senior members of the team and this is how they will start. Will be documenting processes and procedures and will be attending requirements or client meetings. Resource may be engaged on F6 which is the new coding standard in process of being put into place or Medi-Cal related work.

Qualifications

• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
• Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.
• Resource must demonstrate that they take initiative, they are curious, and analytical
• Demonstrate technical aptitude
• Demonstrate their analysis and documentation skills thru their work

Education/Experience:

* 2-4 years' experience required.

Compensation:

Hourly W2 pay rate $28.00 to $32.00/hr
