Job Title: Java Spring boot developer Location(s): Riverwoods, IL Job Description: We are actively seeking an experienced Java Developer with a strong background in Microservices and AWS to join our client's team in Riverwoods, IL. This is an onsite role and requires candidates to work from the client location. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of scalable microservices and cloud-native APIs using AWS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical architecture and strategies. Mentor and guide junior developers, promoting clean code and best practices. Contribute to high-level design and architecture decisions, particularly with distributed systems. Improve and oversee CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release processes. Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for system issues and communicate findings effectively. Ensure cloud applications are secure, fault-tolerant, and high-performance. Technical Skill Set: Programming Languages: Java. Frameworks: Spring, Spring Boot. Architecture: Microservices, OpenAPI. Databases: SQL, NoSQL (AWS DocumentDB, MongoDB). Cloud: AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, Glue, CloudWatch). DevOps: Docker, CI/CD, Containerization, Monitoring Tools. Ideal Candidate Profile: 7+ years of professional experience in Java-based development. Proven expertise in building and maintaining scalable cloud-native systems.
