Financial Systems Support Analyst
This role plays a critical part in supporting the month-end close process, maintaining data integrity across financial systems, and bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analysis and troubleshooting skills, systems configuration and maintenance capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively across finance and technology teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Position Responsibilities:


  • Support month end close during first 5 business days of the month by processing all instrument data for Financial reporting in various financial systems applications (e.g. Oracle OFSAA, Workday, Adaptive).
  • Lead monthly maintenance to ensure the system is prepared for month end processing.
  • Create SQL's to perform data analysis, check trends and investigate data discrepancies.
  • Configure new and update existing SQL rules, data quality groups, allocation rules and models.
  • Collaborate with technology to troubleshoot job failures, reload data, identify source logic.
  • Partner with business Finance users to investigate data trends and discrepancies.
  • Serve as a mediary between business and technology to collect business requirements and translate them to technical solutions.
  • Analyze current business processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Conduct system testing, UAT and validation.



Position Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance or four years of relevant work experience.
  • 1 year of experience in excel functions, data analysis, and eliciting business requirements
  • 1 year of experience in Software troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Experience with establishing source to target mapping documents for new integrations and sources preferred
  • Ability to create data flow diagrams, create new and enhance processing documentation preferred
  • Advanced knowledge with SQL statements preferred
  • Business Analyst or relevant technical certifications preferred

Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday Salary: To Be Determined Based on Individual Experience
