Are you passionate about technology and eager to contribute to the stability and advancement of enterprise-level IT infrastructure? Wilbur-Ellis is looking for a System Administrator to help maintain, monitor, and enhance our enterprise-wide systems, networks, and servers.

Reporting to the Director of IT Infrastructure, you'll play a hands-on role in managing our IT environment while helping drive innovation and improvement across our infrastructure stack.

What You'll Do
  • Monitor and maintain enterprise servers, systems, and networks to ensure optimal performance

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues-escalating when necessary

  • Provide advanced support for business systems, including JD Edwards, Office 365, Okta, and more

  • Create and manage virtual machines, snapshots, and restore operations

  • Monitor and respond to alerts from Rubrik, VMware, Citrix, and Nagios

  • Administer and support cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure), Active Directory, and virtualization environments

  • Use ServiceNow to manage and document support requests, following SOPs and SLA guidelines

  • Participate in the setup, configuration, and decommissioning of servers and network devices

  • Assist with server/network appliance installation, including lifting, bending, and reaching when required

  • Maintain system documentation and ensure best practices are followed

  • Stay current on evolving IT technologies and support methodologies

What You Bring

Technical Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years in Help Desk, System Administration, or related IT support roles

  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise systems and end users

  • AA degree in IT-related field or equivalent technical knowledge

  • Experience with LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, VOIP, IPSEC, and TCP/IP

  • Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization platforms, and SSO

  • Proficiency in business applications such as JD Edwards, Office 365, and Okta

  • Strong problem-solving ability and independent judgment

  • Exceptional customer service mindset in every interaction

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Ability to mentor and collaborate with less experienced team members

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including with vendors and stakeholders

  • Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or on-call as needed

  • Must hold a valid driver's license and be able to travel occasionally
