TITLE: Process Technician

POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Process Technician will be accountable for applying key learnings to successfully assist and execute meaningful work and real-life projects within the production department. This position will report to the Director of Operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience using excel and power point.
• Previous experience using simple statistics required.
• Previous experience organizing data in tables and graphs
• Advanced computer skills experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree / Pursing a bachelor's degree Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Information Services, Business Administration.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be the point of contact with the site's continuous improvement area for the operations area.
• Participate in operational meetings, bringing data and dealings to eliminate losses and quality (non-conformities).
• Develop plans to eliminate losses and eliminate capacity/productivity gaps based on the site's continuous improvement plan.
• Compilation and interpretation of data from your areas to prioritize loss elimination opportunities.
• Investigate using root cause determination tools, non-compliances, and customer complaints, proposing action plans, and ensuring compliance ensuring the PDCA cycle is always active.
• Support the development of teams in problem analysis.
• Issue and update production sheets, work instructions, and area control records.
• Promote correction of operational problems.
• Conduct root cause identification analysis on products, equipment, and processes.
• Assist in the coordination of production scheduling and planning.
• Collect data and information needed by the production department.
• Organize data, perform statistical analysis, and present the data in graphical and tabular form.
• Work with operations, maintenance, quality, and product development teams.

TRAINING:

• Working knowledge of Safety in the Workplace Rules and Regulations, preferred.
• Working knowledge of cGMP's, a plus.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

• Ability to lift up 50 lbs.
