The Regulatory Advisor II/III/Sr responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in ensuring compliance with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and internal policies.
- Serve as a change agent, fostering a positive EHS culture within the organization.
- Conduct field compliance assessments on both upstream and midstream locations.
- Foster a collaborative environment between Operations and EHS.
- Contribute to EHS incident investigations and provide support for incident resolution.
- Review and update EHS standards, ensuring alignment with evolving regulations and communicating updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Assemble necessary data and file various regulatory documents related to oil and gas operations.
- Ability to coach Operations personnel on compliance related matters.
- Prepare and maintain files and documents to comply with all regulations and reporting deadlines.
- Provide technical review of data and technical reports.
- Guide and direct consultants, contractors, and employees regarding regulatory compliance issues.
- Develop and implement compliance tracking records within Salesforce.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Serve as a liaison with state and local regulatory agencies.
Required Experience and Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in oil and gas compliance
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agency personnel
- Demonstrated knowledge of the oil and gas business.
- Knowledge of state, regional and local oil and gas permitting and compliance processes
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to function both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
Remote work is being considered for this role excluding the following states: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee unless willing to relocate.
Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
