SHIFT: Rotating 3rd Shift; 7:00PM-7:00AM

POSITION SUMMARY:
Chem Mix Technicians are responsible for the coordination and batching of solutions for use in Iatric production. This position will balance the needs of the work centers based on identifying priority and making decisions based on production needs. In addition, the technician will provide support for cleaning and sanitizing all equipment used in batch processing.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:



  • Making batches through the Automated Batching System (ABS) and Sanitization System
  • Chemical Inventory using Kanban system
  • Completing monthly, weekly and quarterly task lists
  • Investigating and completing Nonconformances and CAPAs
  • Performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting on Chem Mix equipment.
  • Reviewing daily equipment performance such as USP Skid, CIP/SIP, Batching, etc. document the readings and data in logbook
  • Responsible for supporting the validation processes for Batching, Cleaning and sanitization, COP tank, recipe validation for Batching, product development, etc.
  • Maintaining cGMP expectations of cleaning, blending and supporting any related manufacturing process to Chem Mix

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential accountabilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.)



  • Two years' experience as an operator working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Preventive maintenance experience and mechanical aptitude preferred.
  • Above average knowledge of computer functions and logic
  • Able to obtain forklift certification
  • Ability to learn how to interpret lab equipment results
  • Ability to learn how to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs to equipment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good work history and attendance
  • Motivation for continuous learning and ability to openly embrace change

  • Ability to read, write, calculate and analyze
  • Requires good visual acuity with depth perception and color recognition.
  • Ability to stand and walk during 12-hours shifts with regular breaks
  • Occasional bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing, pushing/pulling and reaching
  • Frequent lifting up to 10 pounds; occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Repetitive arm/hand movement

  • 95% of work will be performed indoors
  • Chemical hazards, exposure to fumes, odors
  • Although the facility is climate-controlled, the temperature will fluctuate slightly with changes in the seasons.
  • Hearing protection may be required in designated areas of the facility
