Kalypso is looking for candidates who are looking for an exciting career as a Solution Architect. You will work in a client-facing role for established global clientele, helping them apply leading ThingWorx IoT, Advanced Analytics and Augmented Reality capabilities to challenging business problems. Our work is, demanding, and provides unparalleled exposure to unique opportunities. The learning curve can be steep, but our team will help you build confidence and allow you to explore areas that are interesting to you. Our focus is on helping clients extract value from the latest IoT capabilities, not just on making the technology work. You will help develop solutions for a diverse set of clients in industries such as Manufacturing, Life Sciences, High Tech, Consumer Goods and Retail. You will report to the Kalypso Principal and work remote anywhere in North Carolina.

• Develop business solutions, working with business process owners, department heads, teams, I.T. and others in our client ecosystem.
• Face-to-face interaction with clients to design solutions that address applications gaps or facilitate system interaction between commercial solutions and our client's existing applications.
• Design the technical architecture for the solutions in a manner that allows ease of use and quick adoption by users in all the involved business groups for a diverse set of clients.
• Develop and providing oversight to the development team related to the solution design, testing and deployment of the software solutions.

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visa, now or in the future, for this job opening.
• A valid driver's license.
• The ability to travel up to 70% travel domestically and internationally.

• Undergraduate degree (preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems with supplementary experience in Data Science and Statistics).
• 5+ years of experience with PTC ThingWorx technology stack:
• Develop IoT applications and solutions including building scalable data model, services, orchestration, system integrations
• Develop IoT connectivity components using ThingWorx edge SDK's or industrial protocols (OPC, MQTT, MTConnect, ModBus and similar).
• Experience integrating ThingWorx with 'Big Data' platforms.
• Competency in Graph/NoSQL database techniques, and RDBS platforms like Oracle and MS SQL Server.
• Competency in modern web development techniques like Angular, Node.js, HTML5 and CSS.
• Competency in one of the major cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure.
• General knowledge of Agile and SDLC software development practices and technical documentation (requirements, functional specifications, test plans).

For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $117,360 - $176,040 with an annual target bonus of 5% of base salary. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
