Consumer Litigation Associate (Midlevel)

Steptoe LLP seeks a mid-level litigation Associate to join the Firm's Los Angeles or Century City office, working primarily with our Financial Services and Consumer Products Litigation practices. Qualified candidates will have 4 to 6 years of litigation experience. Experience representing financial institutions and/or litigating claims arising under banking, privacy and/or consumer protection laws is a plus.

Candidates should be prepared to assume significant responsibility in the management of their matters, and to take on a front-facing role with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.

California bar membership, excellent academic credentials, and strong writing and analytical skills are required. Steptoe offers competitive compensation and excellent benefits in a collegial working environment that offers training and mentorship.

The actual base salary offered will be dependent upon the applicant's experience and qualifications, as well as other job-related factors, including but not limited to, relevant skills, education, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, geographic location.
