Retail Pharmacy Technician

A pharmacy technician works under the supervision of a pharmacist to support the dispensing of medications and other pharmacy-related services. They are responsible for assisting with tasks such as filling prescriptions, managing inventory, processing insurance claims, and interacting with patients to provide customer service.

Education

HS diploma or GED required.

Experience

Preferred 1 year or more experience in retail pharmacy.

Licensure/Certification

OK permit required within 90 days of hire, and PTCB CPhT certification required within 90 days of hire (subject to termination).
