WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for indirect categories with a focus on Facility Services and MRO across our US locations. Ensure alignment with Enterprise Indirect Sourcing Team's and functional business unit's objectives.
- Support cost management initiatives focused on reducing total cost of ownership and improving operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a resilient supply chain and high supplier performance resolving issues and monitoring performance.
- Build partnerships with internal partners to ensure that all requirements are being met.
- Lead negotiation of supply and service agreements that are in line with nVent business strategies.
- Perform detailed supply market analysis related to categories, industries, and suppliers.
- Reinforce the company's continuous improvement culture that promotes communication, shared learning, intelligent risk-taking, creative problem solving, and accountability.
- Run all aspects of sourcing and supply management processes for assigned categories.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related degree.
- 2+ years previous experience in Strategic Sourcing or Procurement in indirect categories preferably in Facility Services, Capital Equipment, and MRO categories required.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Project management skills to develop plans with action steps and timetables, meet deadlines, coordinate cross functional teams, and handle multiple priorities.
- Experience in contract negotiation and management including drafting, redlining, and ensuring adherence to contract service level agreements (SLAs).
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances; must be able to thrive in a constantly changing business environment.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining effective work relationships at all levels both internally and externally (customers, suppliers, etc).
- Strong ability to influence others and build alignment across teams and functions to facilitate change.
- A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams.
- Minimum of 10% domestic travel.

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $76,000.00 - $141,100.00
