We have an opportunity for a Senior Solutions Architect - Partners to join our Partner Solutions Architect team in the U.S., reporting to the manager of Solution Architecture - Partners. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with our world-class national partners to overcome and remove all technical barriers in the sales process. You will develop and position Infoblox solutions, build business cases, and support partners in designing and implementing solutions. You will also build relationships with key individuals, strategizing with the Channel Account manager and executing on your piece of the plan. You will be a trusted technical advisor and help the team and partners develop new business.

Be a Contributor - What You'll Do



  • Understand partner needs and build business cases and technical differentiation with partners about Infoblox solutions and their integration partners
  • Develop pre-sales Engineering content, including presentations, demos, and webinars on Infoblox solutions for partner audiences
  • Assist partners in designing solutions and architectural diagrams that convey proposed Infoblox solutions, how they will be engineered, and how they will integrate with other vendors
  • Educate Partner Technical Sales teams about our solutions and technologies and when and how they can identify opportunities and position Infoblox solutions to customers
  • Evaluate and identify new opportunities within existing accounts to expand Infoblox solutions
  • Work closely with your partner account managers and support the rest of the team in your areas of core competency


Be Prepared - What You Bring



  • 10+ years of experience supporting partner technical sales or 10+ years of experience in engineering or operations networking; experience working with national partners highly preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in networking technologies, including intranet/internet/extranet environments and similar for security technologies; DDI experience is a plus
  • Experience in the cloud/security space with working knowledge of design and implementation for at least one of the following: AWS, Azure, VMWare, Kubernetes, or HBSS, Nextgen Firewalls, TIPS, IPS/IDS, or DevOps
  • CCSP, CISSP, CASP+, CySA+, and/or CEH technical certifications and experience with APIs is a plus
  • Conscientious attitude and dependability, self-starter, ability to work independently while appreciating teamwork and communication
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technology simply
  • Good understanding of pre/post-sales business and profitability models within partners
  • Ability to work in the field frequently; travel is required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent


Be Successful - Your Path

First 90 days: Immerse in our culture, connect with mentors (Blox Buddies), and map the systems and meet with key stakeholders that rely on your work. Discuss and create short/long term goals.

Six Months: Have a foundational knowledge of our entire product/solution portfolio, demonstrate fluency with either on-prem or SaaS-based Infoblox solutions, identify 1-2 specialization areas and be capable of handling primary SA customer-facing tasks with only occasional help from others.

One Year: Demonstrate fluency with all Infoblox solutions, be capable of handling advanced SA customer-facing tasks with only occasional help from others, be able to conduct demos with little to no supervision, and act as the go-to person for the specialization area for your assigned region.
