Responsibilities

As a Cost Engineering College Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cost estimation, pricing automation, data analysis, and project controls within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for candidates seeking to apply analytical, financial, and engineering concepts to real-world business operations in support of complex infrastructure and technology projects.


Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and automating cost estimating tools and processes.
  • Support pricing analysis and standardization for various engineering and construction projects.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to reconcile contract values and scopes.
  • Contribute to the organization and optimization of SharePoint-based project tracking and documentation systems.
  • Perform data analysis to identify cost trends and support decision-making for project planning and execution.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project estimation accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science degree program in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Interest in cost engineering, project management, or business operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
