The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are adding a Senior Project Manager to join our growing Technical Services team in Seattle, WA.

The WW Technical Services team provides technical and strategic consulting services to make every building we touch more efficient. Our highly diverse group touches buildings of all kinds, from schools to hospitals to downtown high rises, with the intent to drive efficiency and optimization in every aspect of operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for the successful leadership and delivery of 20+ complex and strategic projects. This role assumes full ownership of high-value project scopes while providing expert guidance and mentorship to technical team members. Key responsibilities include project scheduling, resource allocation, financial forecasting, change management, and project closeout, all executed with a focus on quality, efficiency, and alignment with client expectations. The Senior Project Manager also plays a critical role in fostering long-term client relationships, ensuring satisfaction across diverse scopes of work and extended contracts, and identifying opportunities for upselling and scope expansion. Operating at both the project and account levels, this role serves as a trusted partner to clients and an influential leader within the organization.

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong financial oversight skills
  • Proficient with project management software, invoicing systems, and MS Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and relationship management
  • Leadership experience, including coaching and mentoring
  • Ability to drive process improvements and operational excellence
  • Strong risk management and problem-solving skills
  • PMP certification (preferred) or similar (e.g. Aglie/Scrum)

The pay range for this position is $102,800 - $152,200 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
