Description

Support critical space operations as a System Architect, Craftsman for STARCOM Delta 10's Wargaming Team at Schriever SFB, CO. In this role, you'll lead modeling and simulation (M&S) strategy and integration efforts for advanced wargaming initiatives that shape the future of space warfare readiness.

Pay: $144,000 - $158,000

Essential Duties

Modeling & Simulation Architecture Leadership



  • Design and develop the long-term M&S architecture for Delta 10/OL-B Wargaming.
  • Define and refine M&S requirements in coordination with government stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and recommend optimal M&S tools and platforms for various wargame types.


Stakeholder Engagement & Strategy Development



  • Collaborate with industry, academia, and interagency partners to align M&S strategies and adopt best practices.
  • Create and manage project plans, monitoring milestones and performance metrics.
  • Contribute to planning and technical guidance for future M&S integration efforts.


Integration, Testing & Support



  • Oversee integration, testing, and evaluation of new space-related M&S tools and technologies.
  • Coordinate accreditation and cybersecurity support for new systems and network installations.
  • Provide training and support (train-the-trainer) for approved M&S capabilities.


Documentation & Reporting



  • Produce detailed reports, briefings, and documentation including trip reports, quad charts, and meeting minutes.
  • Participate in technical interchange meetings and in-progress reviews to ensure alignment and transparency.


Required Qualifications



  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience supporting DoD organizations.
  • Proven experience managing M&S project timelines and deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to collect and analyze simulation data and inform assessment teams.
  • Skilled in applying risk management practices to technical project planning.
  • Strong background in military, civil, or commercial space operations.
  • Experience supporting resource planning and financial data analysis.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Prior participation in Schriever Wargame or similar Title 10 wargames.
  • PMP Certification or equivalent project management credential.
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition, PPBE, or contracting processes.
  • Experience leading M&S in exercises involving space, cyber, or terrestrial domains.


Education & Certification



  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (technical or relevant field preferred).
  • Certification in one or more M&S tools or platforms.


Required Clearance

Top Secret / SCI

Travel

Approximately 10-12 weeks per year; duration varies from short trips to multi-week events.
