IT Audit Director (Performance) (Vacancy#:VAR003105)

This position is located in the Office of Inspector General (OIG), an independent office within the Library of Congress as defined by 2 USC 185. The position is supervised by the Assistant Inspector General for Audits. The OIG is responsible for conducting or overseeing all audits relating to programs and operations of the Library of Congress. The Auditor (Performance) includes planning, conducting, and reporting on findings and recommendations to increase IT security, economy, efficiency, and effectiveness. This position is responsible for conducting audits of Library of Congress IT programs and systems. Work at this level is characterized by broad and complex assignments that affect the direction of Library IT operations over a number of years and can result in changes to Library policies and regulations that govern its activities. IT audits will also evaluate the Library's compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and its programmatic goals.
