SUMMARY The Lead Job Coach supports individuals with minimal work experience by providing on-the-job training, helping them develop skills needed to succeed in competitive work environments. This full-time role includes a flexible schedule and assisting with school-year classes under the program coordinator's guidance. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provide individualized on-site job coaching to meet vocational goals. Support participants in learning job roles and communication using natural supports. Observe, document, and report participant behaviors and progress. Ensure quality control and adherence to employer standards. Facilitate effective communication between participants, employers, and team members. Complete and assist with vocational assessments. Promote economic self-sufficiency through increased earnings and work hours. Identify job matches based on participant strengths and preferences. Maintain participant safety and compliance with job site policies. Act as liaison between employer and participant; evaluate performance and offer recommendations. Follow agency policies, emergency procedures, and training requirements. Operate vehicles safely for work-related duties. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED required. 3-6 months of relevant experience or training.
