Job Description:

The School District of Milton is seeking a Nutrition Team Administrative Assistant (level 2) position that will work District Wide. The primary responsibilities include supporting the operations of the District's nutrition team including financial management, compiling of reports, public relations and communications. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Nutrition.

The position will begin on August 12, 2025 and work primarily through the school year with additional workdays before and after the school year. The position will start at 7:45 a.m. and end at 4:15 p.m. (40 hours per week). A starting wage of $19.65 per hour is offered for level 2 administrative assistants, with additional compensation available for candidates with related administrative assistant experience in a public-school setting.

Qualifications:

Candidates should be extremely organized, be able to multi-task various projects and deadlines, and be flexible with frequent interruptions. A strong set of communication skills (written and oral) is required. In addition, candidates should have a strong emphasis on office management, human resources skills, and an understanding of school organizations. Candidates must also have a superior ability to utilize and incorporate various sources of technology including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Docs. Experience with the District's student database Skyward is preferred.
