About the role: If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, we have an exciting opportunity for an I&C Training Instructor. You will work in an international team with people from the US and across Europe. You will report to the Operations & Technical Training Manager and work hybrid in nature at the discretion of the manager typically requiring 2 days/week at our Westinghouse Waltz Mill facility located in Madison PA. No relocation will be provided for this position. We are unable to sponsor Visa's for this opportunity. We are able to entertain all candidates authorized to work without sponsorship now and in the future. Key Responsibilities: * Attain an instructor qualification on specific I&C related systems to fulfil the training needs of current and future customers across many nuclear power plants in the US and abroad. * Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students and equipment while on assignment at various nuclear power plants across the world. * Preparation of equipment, schedule, travel plans, and training material to conduct the training at various utility sites on your own. * Improve your knowledge and qualification in the I&C field. * Knowledge transfer to junior instructors and customers. Qualifications: * Education: - A Bachelor's Degree in Science/Engineering OR - A High School Diploma/GED holder AND Successful completion of United Stated Navy nuclear field pipeline training program OR - A teaching certification in a science, math, or technical field *Will accept three years of related experience as meeting the Bachelor's degree requirement. * 3+ years of experience in the following areas: - Navy Nuclear Operator OR - Commercial Reactor Operations OR - Commercial Nuclear Power Plant Engineer OR - Instrumentation and Control Technician OR - Commercial or civilian nuclear experience OR - Teaching in a science, math, or technical field * Skills: - Working knowledge of operating procedures, procedure background documents, Piping and Instrumentation Drawings, functional logic diagrams, and other Technical Documents. - Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills and strong presentation/facilitation skills - Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time to remote locations. - Ability to work occasional long hours, rotating shifts, and weekends. - Ability to successfully obtain and maintain unescorted access at a Nuclear Power Plant. #LI-Hybrid Why Westinghouse?
