The Opportunity: We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), reporting directly to the CFO. You will lead our global finance operations and financial planning processes. You are a strong leader experienced in financial planning and be able to work collaboratively across business functions. You will also be responsible for accurately forecasting, analyzing, and reporting the company's financial performance, as well as identifying potential risks and opportunities for investment. Provide Leadership and Manage the Worldwide Finance Planning Function
- Partner with the CFO and executive team to define and execute Picarro's financial strategy.
- Lead the global FP&A function, providing financial insights to guide resource allocation, growth initiatives, and investment decisions.
- Drive the annual and quarterly financial planning processes to develop accurate financial plans that support the achievement of the business strategy
- Manage the overall budgeting and forecasting process for the company's operating expenses, including hiring justification and other expenses
- Drive the company's forecasting process through the creation of detailed revenue, cost of goods sold, Gross Margin, and operating expense spend models for various business verticals
- Establish, track, analyze, and present key financial and operational performance metrics to help provide a decision support system to the Executives
- Create and maintain financial and operational reporting for the Board of Directors, executive and senior management, lenders, and investors
- Develop models that support operational decision-making, financing tactics, and strategic planning
- Conduct due diligence, financial modeling, and other assistance for corporate development/M&A activities
- Demonstrate an understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Interpret, develop, implement, and monitor finance-related processes and procedures
- Improve financial systems, tools, and processes through automation and best practices.
- Close collaboration with Sales Ops and Revenue team to establish a deal desk function for the Company.
- Build a strong FP&A team to meet the demands of the various business verticals and support the scaling of our business
- Provide recommendations and advise on finance related issues and business transactions

Key Skillsets
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required; MBA or CPA strongly preferred
- Proven ability to influence executive decision-making and lead high-impact initiatives.
- Experience in a manufacturing, technology, or instrumentation company preferred.
- Prior experience supporting mergers and acquisitions (M&A), strategic planning, or corporate development is a plus.
- Well-developed analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills
- Self-starter, highly proactive with strong ability to work with minimal guidance and direction
- Ability to critically analyze results at a high level
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Proven ability to influence executive decision-making and lead high-impact initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize and convey key information to executives and the Board.
- Advanced in Excel and experience with NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, and financial analytics tools.
- Solid knowledge of financial fundamentals and financial systems/processes
- Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail when necessary
- A strong leader and team player who can proactively build relationships and work closely with peers across various departments, and interact directly with senior management
- Experience with Data Analytics and dashboarding tools
- Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
