Role: Under the Director of Marketing & Communications' supervision, using independent thought, but following established policies and procedures, performs a variety of duties as required to provide assistance and administrative support to the Marketing Department. Remains cognizant of and adheres to credit union policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act. Adheres to the Apple Way principles of: Team Up, Own It, Challenge Yourself and Serve with Purpose. Performs other duties as assigned by the Marketing Management team. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Manages, tracks and posts promotion incentives for members, including member referral program in the required timeframe for compliance, and maintains record-keeping of electronic submissions for incentive payouts.
- Serves as primary liaison for all frontline staff and member related inquiries. Oversees and manages Service Events submitted by member-facing staff, thereby assisting internal stakeholders with Marketing campaigns. Performs post-production printing, distribution and fulfillment of all marketing collateral materials, including promotional giveaways.
- Independently responds to user-generated questions received on AppleFCU.org via rating and review platform within a timely fashion.
- Coordinates community outreach events for Marketing Department as well as Retail Delivery and Community Engagement. Includes but is not limited to Shred events, School Supply/Food Drive, etc.
- Plans, coordinates and implements organization's marketing campaign launches, to include meeting coordination, training (PowerPoint presentation and room set-up), campaign kick-off and expense tracking. Prepares quarterly marketing campaign reports and recaps.
- Assist with oversight and maintenance of the Marketing AppleNet page. Analyzes marketing processes and procedures to identify and make recommendations to increase department efficiency.

Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience: Minimum three (3) years relevant experience within the marketing/advertising field, preferable in the financial services industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Creative Suite required. PowerPoint presentation preparation, writing and copy-editing skills with demonstrated expertise and creativity in the area of customer service.
- Education: BA/BS degree preferably in Marketing, Communications, or related area.
- Interpersonal Skills: Work involves personal interaction with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution of customer service issues, building relationships and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a high degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact. Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal communication and writing skills with the ability to work independently.
- Other Skills: Strong time management and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously and effectively with a high degree of follow-through and attention to detail. Previous customer/member service experience preferred. Previous event planning experience helpful. Additional strengths include an innovative, creative, energetic personality.
- Physical Requirements: The ability to lift 25 lbs. and utilize standard office equipment including, but not limited to, PC, copier, phone, etc.
- Work Environment: Ability to function in a hybrid, financial institution environment. Local travel to promotional events or branches required.
