Summary:

Supports a large department or more than one department. Performs numerous typing and clerical duties including: scheduling appointments and meetings, giving information, and taking dictation. Composes and types routine correspondence. Files correspondence and other records. Answers telephone and provides information requested. Opens and distributes mail.

Responsibilities:


  • Performs general secretarial duties to include:

  • Processing mail, ordering and maintaining supplies, typing, filing, photocopying, faxing, coordinating meetings, and transcribing minutes.
  • Serves as receptionist to the department.
  • Provides exceptional professional and courteous service to all internal and external customers.
  • Assist in maintaining the daily operation of the Department.
  • Assist in data analysis and report trends to management as needed.
  • Works with little supervision with ability to use critical thinking skills and utilize own judgment in making decisions.
  • Supporting Security Department.
  • Badge replacement and access control.
  • Dispatch calls.
  • Monitoring CCTV.
  • Two-way radio.
  • Data entry.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education/Skills


  • High School Diploma required.
  • Demonstrated computer skills with various software programs such as MS Word, Excel and other department specific programs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, time management and organizational skills.

Experience


  • One year of administrative level secretarial experience.

License, Certifications or Registrations


  • n/a

Work Schedule:

8AM - 5PM Monday-Friday
