About the Practice Radiation Oncology is a subspecialty in Cancer Care that offers professional growth and critical understanding of cancer treatment. This practice supports patients on the Lakeshore who require highly advanced cancer treatment. Our department has 8 physicians that rotate between all 3 of our West Michigan Radiation oncology sites within Corewell Health, one physician being on site daily. Our physicians see patients for consultation and support symptom management throughout our patient's radiation oncology journey. This office offers a team focused environment. This team works to collaborate with other health systems on the lakeshore to ensure continuity of care for our patients. Our team works to care for each individual patient and their families every day, while growing in their knowledge of this highly specialized field. About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Scope of work Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN) in the examination and treatment of patients to facilitate clinic flow and provide excellent patient care. Performs basic skills per department guidelines and policies; communicates observations to members of the health care team. Qualifications
