We Are Hiring:Certified Nursing Assistant, Day Surgery- WMH- 1.0 FTE

Schedule: Day Surgery nursing assistant position with daytime hours between 9:00am-7:30pm. Will cross train to PACU for occasional shift in that department. On call requirement for PACU only 1 weekend every 2 months.

Pay: From $18/hour

In a single day, staff from 4 specialty based teams work within 16 Operating Room Suites to handle as many as 40 cases ranging from Cardiothoracic, Neuro/Orthopedics/Dental, General/Vascular/ ENT, GYN, Urology, to Plastics surgery. Waukesha Memorial Hospitals Operating Rooms average 8,500 procedures annually including da Vinci Robotic procedures performed within more specialties routinely than any other facility in SE Wisconsin. The OR suite also includes a newly built Hybrid OR and a fully integrated Minimally Invasive Robotic room.

The Day Surgery Unit is a 24 bed Outpatient/Ambulatory Surgery unit. The staff provide pre and post-operative/procedural care to Surgery, Interventional Radiology and select populations of Radiology patients receiving anesthesia services. An average of 30 patients per day begin in day surgery with the majority of patients being discharged the day of their procedure and some admitted to critical or inpatient units.
