Analyst, Performance Management

Location:

Location:This position will be required to sit in the Central/Eastern region and work in the Eastern Time Zone.

• Will be required to travel to Cleveland for leadership meetings.

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Commercial Bank Performance Management team. As part of the Performance Management team, this individual will work with the team to understand performance trends, anticipate outcomes, and provide actionable insights to maximize growth and profitability across the Commercial Bank. This Business Analyst will participate in the performance management process through monthly performance, pipeline, and scorecard reporting & analysis.

Key responsibilities:

• Work alongside the Performance Management team to provide actionable insights to address performance gaps, capitalize on areas of opportunity, and identify paths to achieve business growth plans
• Complete monthly performance and pipeline reporting for the Commercial bank
• Participate in setting segment, team, and individual performance goals for the Commercial business aligned with financial objectives and strategic priorities
• Monitor sales team results against performance goals, understand trends and drivers, and provide insights to improve productivity
• Conduct revenue and profitability analytics to identify trends and opportunities for growth, and present findings and recommendations to Performance Management team

Required qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in a related field of study (i.e., Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Sciences, Mathematics, or other applicable fields)
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in strategic, financial, or business analysis roles, or prior experience in a Finance or Commercial rotational development program
• Strong capabilities leveraging the MS Office suite of products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred qualifications:

• Excellent analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to leverage complex or incomplete data to draw conclusions or identify opportunities
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and / or Looker preferred
• Prior experience with banking or other financial services companies, with familiarity with Commercial banking products and services preferred

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $75,000 to $90,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
