The Utilities Division has an opening for an Environmental Instrument Analyst in their Environmental Services Department. Environmental Instrument Analysts (EIAs) operate, monitor, maintain, and repair Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and associated sub-systems in order to provide continuous, reliable, and accurate data for Utilities Division compliance with EPA and State air regulation requirements. Operation of the CEMS includes, but is not limited to, daily calibrations and inspections, weekly inspections, quarterly diagnostic tests and inspections, and any additional tests and/or inspections as required by regulations or Title V air permits. Other duties include instrument preventive maintenance, troubleshooting system problems, taking appropriate corrective action, performing required system repairs, and completing proper documentation. Work schedule is rotating 12-hour shift, but day shift only. Responsibilities:
