Job Description Cornerstone Buildings Brands is seeking a Customer Service/Scheduler to join our Fort Myers, FL facility. This person will be an active member of the team and have a direct impact on the business. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle self professionally with all internal and external customers
- Be able to effectively read and understand material identified to be shipped or complete in field on service tickets
- Utilize workflow to track and prepare all orders for shipping/field service
- Pull all small parts from floor
- Pulled part only orders - print paperwork and labels
- All other orders - apply labels as needed for pulled parts
- Wrap for shipping/field service all extrusion as needed (departments will being o shipping and be scanned to corral)
- Schedule/Plan/Acquire quotes as needed for all service rental equipment (scaffolding, lifts, etc.)
- Work with technicians as needed to understand needs/job site requirements
- Schedule all field service with homeowners and/or dealers as needed for east and west coast service
- Monitor tech hours, be mindful to not utilize overtime to complete service (adjust schedule accordingly)
- Prepare all material for service tech dispatch (ensure all paperwork accurately reflects all material for its location for techs to load onto service vehicles)
- Ensure open communication with field service technicians
- Relay tech schedule, time off, etc.
- Ensure technicians complete paperwork and provide clear and concise job recap, additional needs
- Ensure techs complete the arrival and departure time for all jobs
- Ensure tech compliance on documentation, adherence to schedule, etc.
- Relay all paperwork to front office
- Keep an electronic log of maintenance records for all service vehicles
- Ensure vehicles are properly and timely maintained
Qualifications
- High school diploma, Associate's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience working in an office supporting an outside field service team
- Previous coordinating experience
- Ability to lift 25 Ibs
- Strong communication skills
- Comprehension of MicrosoftOffice Suite
