Operator Helper

LeMay Grays Harbor, a Waste Connections company, is looking for an Operator Helper to join the team in Aberdeen, WA!

Monday through Friday 9-5, after training is completed, schedule may change to Tuesday-Saturday. Starting at $22.90 per hour with regular wage increases.

This is a union position with medical/dental/vision benefits and a pension plan through Teamsters #252.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manual labor including paper picking, keeping site clean and presentable.
• Some Equipment operation
• Traffic management.
• Must have good customer service skills
• Perform yard work including cutting weeds.
• Perform general office maintenance and repairs including painting and janitorial work.
• Working outside in all weather conditions.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

• Work involves constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, bio hazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises
• Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
• Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
