Overnight Landfill Maintenance Technician

Join our dedicated team at LRI Hidden Valley Landfill, a Waste Connections company, in Puyallup, WA! We are seeking a safety-oriented Overnight Maintenance Technician to ensure smooth operations across the landfill while monitoring the leachate treatment plant.

If you have experience in overnight shifts, ideally in a security role, and thrive when working independently, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule: 4 on, 4 off (typically 7:30 PM - 8:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities:

* Monitor and oversee operations at the landfill and leachate treatment plant during overnight hours.

* Provide site security and ensure safety protocols are followed.

* Perform routine checks and inspections of the facility and equipment.

* Handle occasional heavy lifting tasks (up to 75 pounds).

* Drive the company pickup truck to perform site inspections as needed.

* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

* Report any issues or incidents to management promptly.

Qualifications:

* Previous experience in a general labor or security role, particularly overnight shifts.

* A valid driver's license is required; a clean driving record is preferred.

* Ability to work independently and stay alert during extended periods of solitude.

* Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.

* Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and performing manual labor.

* Excellent communication skills and ability to report issues clearly.
