This team works within an agile process to develop cutting edge web and mobile solutions. The Software Quality Analyst is a critical hire that focused on software validation testing to ensure the delivery of a quality product to the Moultrie consumer. On a day-to-day basis you will be defining and executing software testcases to validate custom software systems. You will gain and apply experience and knowledge in reviewing requirements, creating test plans, detailed test cases, test reports, and producing quality assurance metrics.

Job Responsibilities:

  • With the support of other team members, define and execute manual testcases and plans for application feature validation.
  • Identify and report SW Defects using DevOps ensuring proper reproduction steps and required information is contained in the bug ticket.
  • Act as a first Point of Contact for overseas contractors functioning in the same capacity and forward escalations to appropriate team members and leads.
  • Confirm the resolution of corrected bugs using the reproduction steps and scenarios for fix-validation.
  • Collaborate with our Engineering teams on best practices, process changes and standards as part of continuous process improvement.
  • Coordinate with the scrum team and development counterparts in overseeing bug tracking, test prioritization, test automation and release. Track quality assurance metrics.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience developing and executing software validation tests. Strong problem solving and communication skills. Preferred

Skills/Experiences:

  • Test case management in Azure DevOps.
  • Good soft skills in working with other engineering and analytical teams to arrive at optimal solutions to technical challenges.
  • Background or experience in consumer electronics and or IoT.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint data analysis/presentation needs.
  • Hunting experience/appreciation for the outdoors.
