Responsible for nail treatments, manicures, pedicures, and nail art services. This role will create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for clients, while maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in your work area.
Does this position require Patient Care? No, but it does involve patient interaction at times.
-Essential Functions-Perform a range of nail treatments, including manicures, pedicures, nail shaping, cuticle care, and nail polishing, adhering to established techniques and safety guidelines.
-Offer a variety of nail art designs, such as hand-painted nail art, nail decals, and embellishments, to cater to the unique preferences of clients.
-Consult with clients to understand their nail care preferences, recommend suitable treatments, and address any concerns or special requests.
-Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, sterilizing tools and equipment after each use, and following proper hygiene protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for clients.
-Stay updated on the latest nail care products, trends, and techniques to provide clients with expert advice and recommendations.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required and Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma Cosmetology required or Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma Aesthetics required or Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma Manicurist/Nail Technician required

Licenses and Credentials
Cosmetologist [Type 1 - Massachusetts] - Massachusetts Board of Registration of Cosmetology and Barbering required
Experience
Experience as a nail technician or in a similar role 2-3 years required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician, or willingness to train and gain experience on the job.
- Knowledge of nail care products, techniques, and nail art trends.
- Creativity and artistic flair in designing nail art.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in nail treatments.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple clients simultaneously.
