Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician-Instructor to join our academic faculty in the heart of Center City, Philadelphia.

Job Description

  • Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient care within PM&R scope
  • Serve as an instructor and mentor for residents, fellows, and medical students
  • Participate in departmental academic activities, grand rounds, and conferences
  • Develop scholarly work in clinical or educational research
  • Contribute to interprofessional team-based care and innovation in rehab medicine

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree with completion of ACGME-accredited residency in PM&R
  • Board eligible or board certified by the ABPMR
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  • Demonstrated commitment to academic medicine and education
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Subspecialty training (e.g., Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Pain, Sports Medicine) is welcome
  • Experience in clinical teaching or curriculum development
  • Interest in scholarly or quality improvement projects
