DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Food Service Worker 1, you will play an important role in ensuring the quality and safety of the food service provided by our facility. You will have the opportunity to work in various areas, from food preparation to sanitation, providing you with a diverse and engaging work experience. Your responsibilities will also include attending meetings, participating in training sessions, and preparing and serving food, all of which are crucial for maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of the department. Your hard work and dedication will contribute to creating a positive and enjoyable dining experience for our consumers.

- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch:
- Rotating schedule with every third weekend off
- Overtime and travel as operationally necessary
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
