The Opportunity

This is an incredible opportunity to lead Adobe Studio, our in-house creative agency, and define and drive the next chapter of the Adobe brand! As the VP, Head of Adobe Creative you will be the driving force behind the creative vision for the brand and lead our diverse and hardworking team of dreamers, doers, brand builders, and agency partners to bring it to life. The Studio develops everything from award-winning marketing campaigns to incredible event designs, engaging activations, original content, films, social media, and more.

You will oversee all aspects of the creative process, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver inspiring and powerful customer experiences that demonstrate Adobe's leadership in creativity, marketing, and AI. The ideal candidate is a proven creative leader with a commitment to creative excellence and a deep understanding of the creative technology space with a proven ability to build strong and breakthrough visual identity systems, and a passion for the Adobe brand. This leader should appreciate what the Adobe brand stands for and envision our future as we seek to breakthrough with the next generation of customers.

  • Strategic Leadership. Lead and define the creative vision, strategy, and execution for all branding and marketing initiatives across all channels. This will include campaigns, web experiences, events, activations, social, and more.
  • Proven Business Leader. Collaborate with the executive team to ensure alignment with the company's overall business objectives and demonstrate the ability to lead work that delivers on those objectives.
  • Creative Direction. Drive the creation of world-class design and campaign concepts, customer experiences, and marketing campaigns that enhance the brand and resonate with customers across multiple touchpoints.
  • Team Leadership. Build, mentor, and manage a diverse team of creative professionals, including designers, copywriters, creative technologists, filmmakers, and more. Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and collaboration within the team. Drive the adoption of the latest technologies and use of generative AI to build the ideal creative organization for the future.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration. Partner with product, product design, marketing, partnership, and media teams to deliver cohesive and integrated campaigns that create a consistent customer experience and ultimately get results and reinforce Adobe's brand positioning in the market. Also oversee the work of Adobe's creative agency partners, ensuring we are scaling our brand vision in markets around the world.
  • Brand Development. Oversee the continual evolution of the brand, ensuring consistency and relevance across all channels and touchpoints. Guide the development of brand messaging, visual identity, and communication strategies.
  • Diverse Audience. Bring the brand to life for a diverse set of audiences - from the next generation of creators to marketers, small businesses, and the C-Suite.
  • Deep Channel Understanding and Social-First Thinking. Strong understanding of building creative for social and other breakthrough channels and platforms to drive deeper connection with our audiences. Ability to think about everything from how our brand shows up in social to more agile production models to original content, and more.
  • Innovation & Trends. Stay ahead of industry trends and technological advancements, integrating generative AI as well as new tools, methods, and platforms into creative processes. Find opportunities for creative innovation and ensure that the company remains at the forefront of the marketing software space.
  • Technical Leadership. Demonstrate strong technical competence, willing to push the limits of what's possible with Adobe's own creative tools while also working with Product teams to provide feedback on our newest Alpha and Beta tools and sharing insight to fuel the development of the next great creative tools
  • Client & Market Engagement. Represent the creative vision of the company to key clients, partners, and collaborators. Understand client needs and market dynamics, ensuring creative solutions are tailored to deliver value.
What you'll need to succeed
  • 15+ years' experience in related roles, with 3+ years in a leadership capacity managing teams.
  • Proven expertise in leading creative projects and initiatives from concept through execution across domains (web, print, interactive, etc.).
  • Experience playing a significant role in the development and delivery of new technology or major innovations.
  • Ability to solve problems and propose effective solutions.
  • Ability to explain design decision rationales to a broad audience.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment, anticipate issues, and think big picture.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $196,500 -- $417,100 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
