The Opportunity

Are you passionate about delivering fabulous developer experiences with a shift-left approach? Adobe's Product Security Engineering team owns the charter of ensuring security is treated as a first-class citizen during product development. Join us to craft and improve Adobe's in-house enterprise solution. We identify security risks in software and enable development teams to fix them before deployment to production. What you'll do
  • Design, implement, test and deploy features in our source code analysis platform
  • Work in a multi-disciplinary, security focused team
  • Accelerate developer workflows and increase the securability of all Adobe products
  • Build "Security As Code" solutions that push the needle beyond what is currently possible and imaginable today
  • Develop in a tech stack written in Python, deployed with Kubernetes to AWS, and built to be massively scalable to support thousands of developers
What you need to succeed
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience that is equivalent. Masters level degree preferred, or equivalent business experience.
  • 6+ years of experience building high availability software services
  • Ability to support developing and debugging a sophisticated distributed system that processes 50,000+ scan requests daily
  • Working familiarity with DevOps technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Argo, Helm, Vault, Splunk, Grafana, AWS (EKS, SQS, RDS or equivalent experience), and SQL databases
  • Self-starter requiring minimal direction, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to help support developers resolve security findings detected by our automated scanning platform
Additional helpful skills
  • Experience with user interface (UI) and dashboard development
  • Awareness of security scanning tools such as Static Application Security Testing (SAST) engines or Software Composition Analysis (SCA), and Software Bill of Materials (SBOMs)
  • Strong writing skills with an ability to build user content that focuses on how to empathize and connect with a wide range of developers
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $140,100 -- $245,700 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
