Key Responsibilities: |
- Acts as the Engagement Lead and manages teams of consultants for one or more commercial projects to ensure effective negotiations, well-aligned solution-delivery-to-plan, clear engagement governance accountabilities, profitability, and overall client satisfaction
- Assesses proposed solutions from an opportunity expansion and strategic growth perspective, including partner / alliance involvement
- Drives collaborative solutioning across cross-functional teams (e.g., aligns interests and priorities, builds shared goals, establishes cadence, enforces governance)
- Monitors and supervises as required the daily activities of project staff, including consulting and non-consulting team members
- Reviews project deliverables across workstreams from the perspective of QA, requirements alignment, and solution integration
- Leads or drives project post-mortems to extract lessons learned and to identify potential intellectual property for repurposing
- Applies strategic thinking and a transformational mindset to ensure value-add opportunities for clients
- Drives issue resolution and the escalation of engagement challenges to the appropriate levels of decision-making

Essential: |
- 10+ years of strong industry experience in consulting, Digital strategy development, advisory services, or transformation programs, that also represent extensive client-facing experiences
- Bachelor's degree in information technology (IT) or equivalent in relevant business or technical discipline
- Experience with major PBM customers (OR) Experience in a large scale PBM transition program
- Experience in Pharmacy (Mail order / Specialty) area of PBMs
- Experience in successfully developing and leading consultant teams in consultant tasks (e.g., planning, task structuring, analysis, solution delivery)
- Experience in working with and managing teams using an onsite / offshore model
- Experience with business / financial data modeling and analysis
- Experience with various consulting frameworks, processes, and methodologies
- Should have a techno-functional mindset
- Should have the ability to write requirements, user stories, experience in managing large-scale requirements projects
- Should be a thought leader, have strategic thinking, understand the big picture and be able to articulate industry trends
- Should have solid PPT and storytelling skills

- Extensive experience in client management and relationship building at the executive level
- Experience in working in global organizations and/or with global clients

Work Authorization

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans. The annual salary for this position is between $165,000 - $190,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
