Job Summary

As a Cloud Specialist you will leverage your expertise in AWS technologies to optimize cloud solutions and ensure seamless integration and deployment. You will work remotely focusing on enhancing security efficiency and performance of cloud services. Your contributions will directly impact the companys ability to deliver innovative solutions and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and management of AWS Trusted Advisor to ensure optimal cloud resource utilization and cost efficiency.
• Provide expert guidance on AWS SSM for automated configuration and management of cloud environments.
• Manage Amazon S3 Glacier for secure and cost-effective data archiving solutions.
• Utilize AWS X-Ray to monitor and troubleshoot application performance issues effectively.
• Implement AWS CodePipeline for streamlined and automated software release processes.
• Deploy applications using AWS CodeDeploy to ensure reliable and scalable deployments.
• Facilitate version control and collaboration using AWS CodeCommit for efficient code management.
• Lead the build and test processes with AWS CodeBuild to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Integrate Amazon EventBridge for seamless event-driven architecture and application workflows.
• Enhance security posture using AWS Security Hub to monitor and manage security alerts.
• Utilize Amazon Macie for data protection and compliance with sensitive data handling.
• Implement Amazon GuardDuty for continuous threat detection and security monitoring.
• Manage AWS ADFS for secure and efficient identity federation and access management.
• Oversee AWS Certificate Manager for managing SSL/TLS certificates to secure network communications.

Qualifications

• Highly experience with Datadog (from installing agents and/ or creating integrations, to customizing dashboards/ alerts)
• Advanced understanding of AWS servicesUnderstanding of Cloud based services (GitHub, Jenkins, ServiceNow, AccelQ, Broadcom, Fivetran)
• Strong knowledge of a programming language (Python, Java, PHP)
• Strong experience in a Linux environment (log files, command line, system services, custom and managed package installations)Knowledge of the Boomi platform
• Understanding of network protocols, security and architecture

The annual salary for this position is between 79,000- 107,000 yearly depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
