Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

    Lead Full-Cycle Recruitment: Drive full-cycle recruiting for technical, managerial, and professional roles, working closely with hiring managers to understand position requirements and develop customized recruitment plans.

  • Build Strong Relationships: Partner closely with hiring managers to develop a deep understanding of their staffing needs, ensuring alignment throughout the recruitment process.

  • Consult on Best Practices: Advise hiring managers on recruitment practices, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance within an Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) organization.

  • Develop Targeted Job Descriptions: Collaborate with hiring managers to update job descriptions and craft compelling job postings that attract top talent in competitive markets.

  • Create Screening & Interview Tools: Partner with hiring managers to design effective screening methods and interview techniques, setting clear criteria to identify the best candidates.

  • Conduct Interviews: Lead phone screens and interviews, building rapport with candidates and assessing their qualifications to recommend top talent to hiring managers.

  • Manage Applicant Tracking: Maintain requisitions and all candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure a seamless, compliant recruitment process.

  • Lead Recruitment Projects: Take the lead on recruitment team projects and processes that support overall talent management, including attraction, onboarding, and retention strategies.



Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years professional work experience.
  • 1+ year full-lifecycle recruiting experience in an affirmative action organization.

Other Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Solid understanding of recruitment processes as well as demonstrated sourcing, networking, screening and assessing interviews skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of the selection process and successfully manage a high volume workload.
  • Knowledge of, and demonstrated ability to utilize, multiple recruiting sources. Proven track record of innovative recruiting initiatives and campaigns desired.
  • Must have knowledge of up-to-date Human Resource policies, standard practices; laws and regulations and proposed changes and the ability to apply them consistently
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with all levels of staff and applicants.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
  • Experience with SAP and ATS helpful.
  • PHR certification a plus.
  • Must be available for some travel.
