Analyst Operations

Job Location: 19 East - Hershey PA, Open to Remote

Summary:

The Warehousing Analyst will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate, timely, and actionable insights into Hershey's distribution operations performance within the Salty Snacks Category. This role integrates and analyzes data from various external sources (external 3PL WMS) to create high-quality reporting, dashboards, and visualization tools to problem-solve and identify solutions to business questions. Additionally, you are committed to continuous improvement supporting warehousing tasks with S/4 Hana such as inventory management, workflow, and overages, shortages, & damages (OS&D) and month end activities.

Occasional travel: 10% - 15%.

Scope of Responsibility:

SAP

• Work directly with Distribution Center partners to improve inventory accuracy to ensure standards are adhered to and a high level of accuracy is achieved for 1) Cycle Count 2) Inventory Adjustments and 3) Overages, Shortages, & Damages
• Evolve systematic knowledge within S/4 HANA to become the SME to provide expertise for overall DC inventory control and daily Workflow and OS&D support
• Ownership of daily and monthly critical transactions in SAP for Distribution Operations
• Support Month End processes for required SOX activities at 3PL DCs (inbound/outbound reconciliation, and inventory adjustments)
• Create SOPs on critical SAP processes related to inventory management
• Backup in-person quarterly cycle counts when necessary

Reporting & Analytics

• Effectively interact with key stakeholders and leaders to serve as a consultative partner and present clear and compelling analyses and recommendations
• Support development and maintenance of daily/weekly/monthly reporting from 3PL Distribution Partners to support business analytics for the Salty business
• Help create and maintain centralized 'self-serve' analytics and insights hub in PowerBI
• Generate reporting to guide activities of business partners to provide expertise for DC inventory control and develop query capabilities to drive root cause problem solving
• Maintain and elevate Logistics Hub sharepoint site utilizing digital 5S to further evolve cross-functional knowledge sharing

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive business experience
• Tableau, PowerBI, and SQL experience preferred
• Experience with WMS Systems, ERP preferred
• Comfortable working with agility, managing conflicting asks and prioritization
• Comfortable working in a diverse, fast-paced environment, adhering to deadlines with ability to manage multiple priorities
